Image Skincare has announced that it has filed a federal lawsuit against unauthorized online retailers. The brand says there are a number of unauthorized online sellers of its products.

The lawsuit was filed in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida. It asserts claims against the defendants for federal copyright infringement, federal trademark infringement, conspiracy and violation of the federal RICO statute, among others.

Image Skincare says it will pursue action against the defendants to recover monetary damages and attorney’s fees in excess of $10 million. The company will also pursue an injunction permanently prohibiting the defendants from engaging in further unauthorized sales.

“This lawsuit reflects our unwavering commitment to the protection of our brand and customers,” said Janna Ronert, founder & CEO, Image Skincare. “We have a comprehensive enforcement program against the unauthorized sale of our products, and we will continue to maintain a zero-tolerance policy moving forward.”
